Regarded as a role model by both English and Chinese language learners, over the years Dashan has co-produced and hosted numerous educational programs to teach both languages. Dashan has also appeared in promotional campaigns for dictionaries and electronic study aids, and hosted countless language competitions and public speaking contests.

"Travel in Chinese", hosted by Dashan, was broadcast by satellite around the world on CCTV-9.

A new series, "Sports Chinese" is currently is currently being broadcast, in preparation for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.

120 episodes of "Communicate in Chinese" were broadcast on CCTV-9 through 2003 & 2004.

Texts and video CDs for this series are available in bookstores across China.

Over the years, Dashan has hosted several English language educational programs and countless language competitions and public speaking contests.

The two most popular English series, "Dashan & Friends" and "Dashan's Adventures" have completed broadcast, but are still available in bookstores across China.
